A brief introduction to our solar submersible water pumps: Our pumps work solely on the solar panels without batteries, and charge controllers.
The pumps are submersed in water which prevents overheating in the motors.
The pumps come with their own three-phase DC controller - this controls the power to the pump from the panels.
The LED display shows the power, voltage, current, speed etc. in working conditions.
The variable speed three phase brushless motor is capable of speeding up & slowing down, according to the type of exposure to the daylight or sunlight - this varies from 600rpm right up to 4000rpm.
This all happens automatically!
Day-to-day performance:
Each day without fail, the pump will start automatically once connected to a pressure switch and pressure tank.
The pump will switch on & off according to the ballcocks at the destination. It will also switch itself off automatically at night. Our pumps come in Archimedes screw-type or stainless steel impeller type, depending on the quantity of water & lift height required. This ensures that there are less complications with grit and dirt through the water, unlike the inline diaphragm suction type pumps.
The pump motor is brushless, with an oil-bathed drive, this ensures extra long life compared to standard brushed motors.
The pumps and controllers come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty! The solar panels have a twenty to twenty five year life span. The system also comes with an encasement bunker to accommodate the controller and pressure switch and tank.

What is solar water pump? A solar water pump is a solar system powered by solar energy that working is lifting water. It is just like the electric water pumps with the only exception that it uses solar energy instead of fossil fuel. It consists of one or more solar panel, a motor pump set, electronic controls or a controller device to operate the solar pump, the required hardware and in some cases, other items like solar inverter, solar batteries, etc.
How can I know that I use submersible solar pump or surface solar pump? The selection of 1 HP solar water pump is based on the groundwater level and water source. In the case of a bore well with a water table deeper than 10-15 meters, a submersible pump is used.
Which is better in 1 hp DC or 1 hp AC solar pump?DC pumps have an advantage over AC pumps in terms of high efficiency and do not require inverters for operation, DC pumps do cost more.
Is it more useful than electric water pumps? Solar water pumps don’t require any fuel or electricity to operate. Once installed, solar water pump don’t meet the recurring costs of electricity. Solar pumps do not get affected by power cuts, low voltage, single phase problems or the motor burning.
How does solar water pump work? It works like any other pump set in which the only difference is solar energy which is used instead of energy inaccessible for its operation. When the sunlight falls on the solar panel it produces a direct current (DC) which then feeds the motor to pump water.
Where I can install solar water pump sets, and how much are required? The water pump should be located close to the solar panel, but within the irrigated area and the lift for the solar pump must be low. There are some necessary requirements they are, selecting the location for both the solar panel and solar pump. In the case of solar panels, they should be installed in area where is no shade and has no dust.
