Supplementary feed for cattle, horses and pigs

 The activated charcoal paste is a supplementary feed with vegetable charcoal and tannins to support the intestinal function of dairy cows, calves, horses and piglets suffering from intestinal and digestive disorders. Binds toxins thanks to the tannins it contains (chestnut extract) and supports the restoration of firm stools. In combination with charcoal, tannins strengthen the natural intestinal flora.

 Feeding recommendation:

To be used for loose stools and digestive disorders.

Dairy cows:
2 cartridges daily for 3-4 days or as recommended by the animal nutritionist.

Horses > 300 kg:
1 cartridge twice daily for 3-4 days.

Horses < 125 kg:
½ cartridge twice daily for 3-4 days.

Sows:
½ cartridge twice daily for 2-4 days.

Animals < 125 kg:
½ cartridge twice daily for 3-4 days.

Animals < 50 kg:
1-2 puffs (1 puff = 15 g) twice daily for 2-4 days

Paste Applicator

The paste applicator enables easy and quick administration of all LANDMANS BEST feed pastes

To administer the paste, the cartridge is simply inserted into the gun, where it is held securely. The pump mechanism is protected against contamination, thus achieving a long service life, and its 10:1 stroke effect enables the dispenser to administer safely, quickly and precisely. The body is very light, so that fatigue during work is kept to a minimum and comfort for the user is improved.

Notes on charging and discharging:

1. To load a cartridge, pull the rod of the dispensing gun all the way back

2. Cut off the tip of the cartridge with a knife and insert the cartridge into the dispensing gun

3. Push the cartridge firmly into the gun until it can no longer be pulled out

4. The dispensing gun is now ready for use. To process the cartridge contents, press the large lever until the contents come out of the tip

5. To change the cartridge, pull the rod all the way back until you hear a click – the cartridge is released and can be removed.

6. Remove used cartridge and insert new cartridge

Instructions for proper use on animals:

• Only administer to cows with a clear swallowing reflex

• Care must be taken not to injure the throat area when entering

• Screw on the dosing extension and insert it into the side of the mouth along the tongue and empty the contents so that the animal can swallow it

• After emptying the cartridge, carefully and slowly pull the dosing gun out of the throat
