Dietary mineral feed for calves

The iron bolus provides calves with a bioavailable source of iron after birth to prevent iron deficiency, the most common deficiency symptom in calves. A good supply of iron promotes blood formation and the immune system, so that calves are more vital and gain weight more quickly. The bolus contains organic iron chelate, which is very well absorbed by the calf, and is also enriched with important vitamins.

Feeding recommendation for newborn calves up to 3 weeks of age:

Feeding of 1 bolus preferably within the first 24 hours after birth.
