About

🚫 Eliminate Foot Rot Instantly!

Mortakill is a natural, organic acid-based hoof treatment used to manage digital dermatitis (Mortellaro disease) in cattle and other livestock. Made from plant-derived organic acids, Mortakill is designed for direct application only — offering a safe, effective alternative to chemical or antibiotic-based treatments.

Digital dermatitis (DD), also known by many other names including papillomatous digital dermatitis, hairy heel warts, strawberry warts, strawberry foot, raspberry heel, footwarts, digital warts, verrucous dermatitis, or Mortellaro’s disease, is a multifactorial disease involving infectious agents, immune responses, and environmental factors.

Description

Why Use Mortakill?

  • Natural & Organic: Free from harsh chemicals or antibiotics

  • Direct Action: Applied precisely to affected areas — not used in footbaths

  • Non-Antibiotic Treatment: Helps reduce reliance on veterinary antibiotics

  • Fast-Drying: Dries out lesions and supports rapid healing

  • Improves Animal Welfare: Reduces lameness and promotes better hoof health

🧪 How to Apply Mortakill

🔴 Do not dilute
🔴 Do not use in footbaths or sprayers

Use a drip-on method for targeted, effective treatment:

  1. Clean the Affected Area

    • Gently wash and dry the hoof to remove mud, manure, or debris

    • If needed, lightly trim to expose the lesion

  2. Apply Mortakill Directly

    • Use a drip-on applicator (e.g., nozzle bottle or syringe without needle)

    • Drip the product neatly onto the lesion, covering the entire infected area

  3. Allow to Air Dry

    • Do not cover or bandage

    • Keep the animal on hard, clean ground for at least 30 minutes after application

    • This ensures full absorption and prevents the product from being rubbed off or soiled

  4. Repeat if Necessary

    • In most cases, a single application is sufficient

    • If there’s no clear improvement or the deepest part of the infection hasn’t been reached, repeat the process 6 to 7 days later

🐾 Prevention & Management Tips

  • Early Detection: Spot and treat lesions promptly

  • Clean Environment: Reduce slurry and wet conditions

  • Isolate Infected Animals: Prevent spread during outbreaks

  • Routine Hoof Checks: Make foot health part of regular herd care
